My Top 4 Favorite Plant-Based & Weight Loss Friendly Burgers at Whole Foods

Whole Foods has really stepped up its game over the past year in regards to more whole food offerings. I've noticed that their produce is always competitively priced yet the freshest produce in a supermarket that I can find. They also have amazing vegan/plant-based options in ALL of their sections: deli, cheeses, frozen, etc. I've found some delicious favorites that are all low in fat, high in nutrients, and have amazing flavor to satisfy any palate. Being vegan and losing weight has never been easier! Read on for my favorite vegan burgers in Whole Foods that also happen to be perfect for weight loss. These are in no particular order because I love them all.


1. California Veggie Burger by Amy's Kitchen

The texture of this one is amazing and will 100% satisfy the craving for a savory burger. Highly recommend. At 5g of fat, this has the highest amount of fat I eat in a burger.


2. Frozen Traditional Meatless Plant-Based Burgers by 365

Ok we are OBSESSED with these burgers guys. Neil and I buy these WEEKLY because they're such an easy option for us. By the way pro tip= cook them in the air fryer. No oil needed! So delicious & so fast.


3. Frozen Meatless Smoky & Spicy Plant-Based Burgers by 365

Here's the spicy version of #2. I love this in a burrito bowl or even as a protein with a mix of Asian veggies sautéed in a soy sauce, ginger, and garlic mix. So good, try it!


4. Boca Original Vegan Spicy Non-GMO Soy Chik'n Veggie Patties

These are basically fried chicken but actually soy and actually low in fat (4g). These are incredibly versatile, whether you put it in a sandwich, a salad, or in a veggie bowl. Just so easy. Crisp up amazingly in the air fryer or oven!


A lot of figuring out how to eat for weight loss is just knowing which foods work in your general life and which don't. All of these vegan burgers are low in fat yet taste amazing so I make it easy for myself to choose healthy by keeping them stocked at all times. These always feel like a "treat" to me so I'm able to load up the rest of the plate with non-starchy veggies and whole grains and still feel satisfied because I get to eat a delicious burger that is hard to believe isn't a treat!
